Research Progress of the Interaction between Bile Acids and Gut Microbiota and Intestinal Carcinogenesis★

Abstract
Colorectal cancer is a commonly diagnosed gastrointestinal tumor. Its development is closely correlated to the genetic and en-vironmental factors. The metabolic disturbance of bile acids caused by high fat diet, as well as the dysbiosis of gut microbiota, plays a criti-cal role in intestinal tumorigenesis. We first summarized the synthesis, transport and metabolism of bile acids, and the function of bile acids receptors (such as farnesoid X receptor). This review also highlighted the interaction between bile acids and gut microbiota and its role in intestinal carcinogenesis. Thus targeting bile acids-gut microbiota axis may provide new insights into the prevention and treatment of CRC.关键词
