A Method for Identificating Cycle Parameters in Wind and Waves Based on Real Ship Test

Abstract
Cyclic motion performance is an important parameter of ship maneuverability. During sea trial,due to the influence of surface current,the cyclic motion trajectory will deviate from the theoretical one,resulting in inaccurate identification of the pa-rameters of cyclic motion. In this paper,the course and speed data in GPS are used to plot the ship's pivot trajectory by range inte-gral method,and the effect of current on the trajectory is stripped by vector superposition method,and the parameters of ship's cy-clic motion in wind and waves are identified. The real ship test and it's identification results show the effectiveness of the proposed method. This method has important reference value for ship operators to grasp the ship's cyclic motion performance more accurately when taking real ship tests in wind and waves.关键词
