摘要

Abstract

The torsional vibration damper is effective for reducing the vibration level of ship propulsion shafting systems. In this paper, the lumped parameter model with multi-DOF was simplified to a single torsional pendulum model by energy method. By adding another torsional damper, the double pendulum model was built and analyzed. The influence of inertia ratio and tuning ratio on the torsional vibration reduction was discussed. Then, the basic steps of parameter matching of the damper were briefly described. Finally, as an example, the parameter of torsional damper for a propulsion shaft of a multi-purpose ship was determined and the calculation result was given.
