摘要
Abstract
To improve the operation reliability of the external insulator of transmission and transformer equipment in a polluted and wet environment and aiming at the phenomena,such as the formation of discrete water droplets and the in?duced surface flashover during the insulator operation,the process of surface flashover discharge under different droplet static parameters(e.g.,droplet location,volume,and conductivity)is analyzed using UV-imaging information extrac?tion technique based on image processing,feature extraction,and quantitative indexes. The relationships among the process of discharge induced by discrete water droplets,the initial discharge voltage of the insulator,flashover voltage, and the different droplet static parameters are obtained. The research results are helpful for further investigation on the effect of surface water droplet on the flashover mechanism,which is of great significance for the safe and steady opera?tion of power system.关键词
