摘要
Abstract
To further improve the speed and accuracy of fault classification and identification for transmission lines,a novel fault classification method is proposed based on current amplitude and support vector machine(SVM)in this pa?per.Aiming at three-phase fault current signals,this method only adoptsthe half-cycle fault signals of three-phase cur?rent intercepted after filtering as the basic fault feature signals instead of using any feature extraction algorithms;com?bined with the SVM intelligent classification algorithm,it can realize fault classification and identification for transmis?sion lines. A large number of simulation experiments were conducted using Matlab,and results showed that this fault classification method was simple,fast,and it was not easy to be affected by such factors as fault location,fault inception angles,or transition resistance;it had satisfying adaptability and an accuracy of fault classification as high as 99.75%.关键词
