摘要

Abstract

At present,the parameter setting of a power system stabilizer(PSS)is completed in excitation system auto?matic mode. When switching to the supplementary constant reactive power control,it is necessary to determine whether the PSS still plays a normal damping role. In this paper,the model of constant reactive power control is extended to the Phillips-Heffron model. Based on the superposition principle,the influences of control parameters(e.g.,proportional P,integral I,and differential D)in the constant reactive power closed-loop control on the space torque vector of PSS are analyzed one by one. The research result shows that integral I and differential D have greater influences on the PSS damping effect,thus there is a risk of overturning the PSS damping polarity. In addition,the correctness of theoretical analysis is proved with the combination of a specific case study.
