摘要

Abstract

The current space-based remote sensing payload can not meet the need of emergency disaster reduction because of long revisit time,low imaging performance and lack of multi-dimensional informa-tion acquisition.A design of multi-frequency and multi-polarization MEO SAR (medium earth orbit synthetic aperture radar)payload is presented.Because of L,S,C and X band and full-polarization design,the payload can take advantage of both LEO (low earth orbit)SAR and GEO (geosynchronous orbit)SAR,which can meet the need of emergency disaster reduction by the ability of high spatial-time resolution,wide-swath and multi-dimension information achievement.
