摘要

Abstract

Isobaric vapor-liquid equilibrium(VLE) data for the toluene+ethanol+1-decyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate([C10MIM][OAc]) ternary system were measured at 101.3 kPa. The VLE data were correlated with the NRTL model in Aspen software,and the equation parameters were obtained by regression. [C10MIM][OAc] had a significant salting out effect on toluene. The higher content of [C10MIM][OAc] ,the more obvious the effect. The azeotropy of toluene-ethanol system completely disappeared with the [C10MIM][OAc] mole fraction reaching 0.15. The NRTL model calculation showed that the minimum mole fraction of [C10MIM][OAc] for stopping the toluene-ethanol system azeotropy was 0.139 7. Therefore,[C10MIM][OAc] can be used as an entrainer for the extractive distillation of the toluene-ethanol azeotrope system.
