Improvement of the quality of delayed coking petroleum coke by optimizing production process

Abstract
Since the 1.20 Mt/a delayed coking unit of a petrochemical company has been put into production,the quality of petroleum coke produced is low,which can only meet the technical requirements of grade 3A,grade 3B and less,and lacks market competitiveness. The analysis found that the reaction temperature,the feedstock property,the large amount of steam blowing in the cold coke process of the old tower have great influence on the quality of petroleum coke products. Combined with the production practice,the relative technical measures are proposed. The results show that the inlet temperature of the coke drum was increased to 487 ℃,the operating pressure of the coke tower was reduced to 0.15 MPa,the blending amount of " three sludges" was reduced to 10 t per coking cycle,the high blowing capacity of the coke tower was increased to 14-15 t/h,the output of grade 2A and 2B petroleum coke was increased by 60%,the output of grade 3A and 3B petroleum coke was decreased by 19%,and the petroleum coke products which did not meet the industry quality standards were eliminated,the whole quality upgrading of the petroleum coke product was smoothly realized, and a new benefit increasing point was formed.关键词
