摘要

Abstract

The remote sensing satellites data is an important tool for researchers to detect the precursors. This paper presents a random walk anomaly detection (RWAD) method and apply it to detect precursors information within the outgoing long-wave radiation (OLR) data before Megeti earthquake which occurred on July 9, 2014 in Xinjiang Province. The experimental results show that the anomaly value suddenly increases before the earthquake. Generally, the anomaly values appear within 2-3 months before earthquake. And the anomaly change is not only related to the time, but also influenced by the spatial position.
