Abstract
Objective To analyze the expression of serum Fascin-1 in breast cancer and its clinical significance.Method The expression of serum Fascin-1 in 120 breast cancer patients and 26 healthy controls were analyzed by ELISA.Results(1)The expression level of serum Fascin-1 in breast cancer patients was not significantly different from that in healthy controls(P=0.549).(2)The expression level of serum Fascin-1 in breast cancer patients increased with the increase of histological grade(P=0.013).The expression level of serum Fascin-1 in breast cancer patients was not related to the age(P=0.402),tumor size(P=0.446),lymph node metastasis(P=0.902),clinical stage(P=0.249),estrogen receptor(ER)status(P=0.917),progesterone receptor(PR)status(P=0.213),epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)status(P=0.213),BMI(P=0.512),and the state of operation(P=0.372).(3)There was a tendency of increased Fascin-1 expression in triple negative breast cancer(TNBC)compared with other molecular subtypes,but the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.733).Conclusion The expression of serum Fascin-1 was higher in breast cancer patients with higher histological grade.The relationship between the expression of serum Fascin-1 and breast molecular subtypes needs further study.关键词
