The preventive effect of the detection of Hcy, Cyst C, RPB4, and carotid intima-media thickness in healthy physical examination

Abstract
Objective To study the relationship between the levels of serum homocysteine (Hcy),cystatin C (Cys C),retinol-binding protein 4 (RBP4),and the carotid intima-media thickness (CIMT) in physical examination patients with lacunar infarction and patients with atherosclerotic cerebral infarction.Methods The CIMT of 65 patients and normal controls were detected by carotid ultrasonography.Serum Hcy,Cys C,and RBP4 levels were also detected.Then the correlations between cerebral infarction and the above four indicators were analyzed.Finally,the correlations between serum Hcy,Cys C,RBP4 levels,and CIMT were analyzed.Results 1.The levels of Hcy,Cys C,RBP4,and CIMT in the cerebral infarction group were higher than those in the control group (P＜0.01).2.The serum Hcy,Cys C,RBP4 levels increased in turn from the normal CIMT group,the increased CIMT group,to the carotid plaque formation group (P＜0.01).3.There was a positive correlation between CIMT and the serum Hcy,Cys C,and RBP4 levels (r=0.647,0.583,0.472,P＜0.01).Conclusions The serum Hcy,Cys C,RBP4 levels,CIMT are the risk factors of atherosclerotic cerebral infarction and lacunar infarction,and can be used as the early prediction indexes for the cerebral infarction.Combined detection of the four indexes is of great significance to the early diagnosis and prevention of cerebral infarction.关键词
