Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of levodopa combined with carbidopa for children with amblyopia and the influence on their QOL score.Methods A total of 60 children (60 eyes) with monocular amblyopia admitted to our hospital from June,2017 to May,2019 were divided into a control group (30 cases and 30 eyes) and a study group (30 cases and 30 eyes) according to the random number table method.The control group were given visual stimulation,occlusion therapy,and orthodontic glasses;in addition,the study group were given levodopa and carbidopa;both groups were treated for six months.The treatment effects,corrected visual acuities,life quality,and incidences of adverse reactions were compared between these two groups.Results After the treatment,the effective rate was 83.33％ in the study group,and was 73.33％ in the control group,with no statistical difference (P ＞ 0.05).After the treatment,the corrected visual acuities of the two groups was significantly improved.After treatment,the corrected visual acuity of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P ＜ 0.05).The scores of ASQE of the study group were (85.83±3.83),(77.97±4.81),(80.81±3.55),(85.75±4.05),and (81.27±4.63),which were significantly higher than those of the control group (all P ＜ 0.05).There was no statistical difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P ＞0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive therapy combined with levodopa and carbidopa has a good clinical effect on amblyopic children.It can not only effectively improve the children's visual function and quality of life,but also is safe and reliable.关键词
