Efficacy of Cetuximab Combined with FOLFOX4 Regimen in the Treatment of Patients Postoperative Recurrence of Colorectal Cancer Diagnosed by Diffusion-weighted Imaging

Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy of cetuximab combined with FOLFOX4 regimen (oxaliplatin + calcium folinate + 5-Fluorouracil) in the treatment of postoperative recurrence of colorectal cancer. Methods A total of 46 patients with postoperative recurrence of colorectal cancer diagnosed by diffusion-weighted imaging (DW1) from April 2017 to April 2019 were selected and divided into the control group and the combined group according to the random number table method, 23 cases in each group. The patients in the two groups received FOLFOX4 chemotherapy, on this basis，the patients in the combined group were treated with cetuximab. Both groups were continuously treated for 12 weeks. Results The objective remission rate (ORR) of the combined group was 86.96%, which was significantly higher than 52.17% of the control group (P<0.05).The disease control rate (DCR) of the combined group was similar to that of the control group (95.63% vs. 82.61%，P>0.05). After treatment, the 12-month survival rate of the combined group was 95.65%, which was significantly higher than 69.57% of the control group (P＜0.05). The progression-free survival (PFS) of the combined group was significantly longer than that of the control group (P<0.05).The levels of carcinoembryonic antigen, carbohydrate antigen 199 and carbohydrate antigen 724 in the combined group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was similar between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Cetuximab combined with FOLFOX4 regimen is effective and safe in the treatment of postoperative recurrence of colorectal cancer, which can reduce the levels of serum tumor markers, and improve the quality of life of patients.关键词
