Abstract
This paper discusses the genesis and transference of Traditional Chinese Medicine from China and Asia to Europe. It looks specifically at the ways in which TCM was initially discovered and how it reach medical circles in Europe. It also looks at the reasons why it became popular in the historical context and specifically at the presence of TCM in Britain. Finally, this paper briefly traces the booms and slumps in the popularity of TCM and its place in modern medical practices in the Uk and Europe.关键词
