Abstract
In long-range ad-hoc networks,multi-user phased array radar wideband communication seems promising for improving sig-nal power,reducing interference,and greatly increasing system sum spectral efficiency.Proper wideband beamforming scheme is re-quired to obtain these advantages.For the angle-based maximum-ratio combining(MRC)beamforming,the inter-user interference is not suppressed,leading to a great loss of system sum spectral efficiency.An angle-based minimum mean square error(MMSE)beamforming scheme is proposed to suppress inter-user interference and increase system sum spectral efficiency.Further,considering the angle-spread of wideband signals,a wideband MMSE beamforming scheme is proposed using the method of zero-point extension.Numerical results show that compared to angle-based MRC and MMSE beamforming schemes,the proposed wideband beamforming scheme can effectively suppress inter-user wideband interference and greatly increase system sum spectral efficiency.关键词
