The Evolution and Enlightenment of Discipline System in China's Primary School Education

Abstract
In modern times, China's school education began to embark on a historical period of institutionalization. The primary school education discipline system experienced three stages:new-style schools, late Qing Dynasty schools, and the schools of the Republic of China. The modern primary school education discipline system is an extension of the nation's political system, and it has played a guiding role in school management. Meanwhile, corporal punishment in primary schools has aroused public attention and gradually become a main concern of research, which eventually led the Republic of China to abolish the corporal punishment. Interpreting policy texts correctly, analyzing its capacity limits, and strengthening people's understanding of the system are the basis for the implementation of the system. Therefore, to promote the implementation of the primary education and discipline system, we need to improve the system, stimulate the awareness of self-education, cultivate good habits, draw the attention of the whole society, together with strengthening the study of the primary school education discipline system. The evolution of the modern primary school education discipline system sheds lights on primary school education today, and thus the effectiveness of primary school education will be a hot research topic.关键词
