Abstract
In the background of peak carbon and carbon neutrality, controlling energy consumption in the urban transportation sector is of great significance for realizing the dual carbon goals and building low-carbon cities. Based on a literature review of the correlation between urban form and urban transportation energy consumption, the paper categorizes indicators of urban form at three scales, namely macroscale, mesoscale, and microscale. The correlation between indicators of urban form and urban transportation energy consumption at multiple scales is summarized, and views expressed in the existing literature are sorted out. However, some difficulties remain, including the obstacle of obtaining basic data of urban transportation energy consumption, and the flaw in the urban transportation energy consumption model due to uncontrolled influence of factors other than urban form. On this basis, the paper proposes the future directions of research.关键词
