Acupuncture for radiation-induced xerostomia in head and neck cancer patients:A systematic literature review
摘要
Abstract
Xerostomia is a typical side effect following radiotherapy in head and neck cancer patients,which makes rehabilitation and life difficult.Acupuncture appears to have some benefits in the treatment of xerostomia as a complementary and alternative medical therapy.This review summarizes some of the most recent research on acupuncture for xerostomia,analyzes the mechanisms,acupoint selection,and acupuncture effects,and makes recommendations for further research.关键词
