Abstract
Objective:To investigate the status and causes of unqualified inpatient medical orders in Children's Hospital of Hunan,analyze the application of quality improvement project monitoring(PDCA cycle management)in the management of qualified rate of inpatient medical orders,so as to provide reference for promoting safety and rational drug use in clinics.Methods:The quality improvement project focused on"improving the qualified rate of inpatient medical orders"for reducing and eliminating medication errors and other mistakes that may occurred during the prescription and execution of inpatient medical orders.Results:The lowest qualified rate of inpatient medical orders in our hospital was 96.8％.Under the supervision of prescription review in department of pharmacy,the qualified rate of inpatient medical orders increased,and the qualified rate of inpatient medical orders in most department reached the target value of 99.0％.The implementation of PDCA cycle management for improving qualified rate of inpatient medical orders in our hospital was indeed feasible.Conclusion:The application of PDCA cycle management in our hospital has effectively improved the quality of qualified rate of inpatient medical orders,leading to more standardized prescription and execution of inpatient medical orders and ensuring the medication safety for children.关键词
