Preparation of Cu-Mo/Al2O3 composite metal catalyst and its catalytic cracking of glyphosate by-product waste salt

Abstract
Supported Cu-Mo/Al2O3 composite metal catalysts with different molybdenum loads were prepared by equivolumetric impregnation method in order to efficiently catalyse the pyrolysis of organic pollutants in glyphosate by-product waste salt.The effect of catalysts on the total organic carbon content(TOC)of waste salt catalytic cracking was investigated in a rotary tube furnace.The crystal structure,pore structure and REDOX properties of the catalyst were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction(XRD),N2 physical Adsorption-Desorption,H2 programmed temperature reduction(H2-TPR),O2 programmed temperature desorption(O2-TPD)and Raman spectroscopy.The results showed that the 5Cu-25Mo/Al2O3 composite metal catalyst had a good catalytic cracking effect on the by-product waste salt of glyphosate,reducing the total organic carbon value of the waste salt from 1 042 mg/L to 4.17 mg/L,and the TOC removal rate was 99.6%.The non-methane total hydrocarbon content(NMHC)of the exhaust gas discharged from the catalytic cracking process of waste salt was detected online,and Fourier infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR)was carried out to detect the treated waste salt below 10 mg/m3.It was proved that the synergic action of copper and molybdenum metal ions promoted the decomposition of organic pollutants in waste salt,and the organic pollutants removal effect was good.关键词
