牙周-正畸联合治疗重度牙周炎伴错畸形的长期临床效果观察(附1例21年随访报告)
Long-term clinical observation of periodontal-orthodontic treatment for patients with severe periodontitis and malocclusion:a case report of 21-year follow-up
摘要
Abstract
The difficulty and complexity in management of severe periodontitis have greatly increased due to serious de-struction of periodontal supportive tissue and difficult control of inflammation.Multidisciplinary professional means and close cooperation between each other are particularly necessary in the treatment design and implementation for compli-cated periodontitis cases with malocclusion.This article illustrated a case of generalized stage Ⅳ grade C periodontitis which had been followed-up for 21 years.Through initial periodontal therapy,orthodontic therapy and periodontal main-tenance,the patient obtained health,function and aesthetics as well as a long-term stable effect,which provides ideas and clinical experience for combined periodontal and orthodontic treatment of such cases of severe periodontitis with mal-occlusion.关键词
