膜龈手术辅助正畸-正颌联合治疗改善重度牙周炎伴牙颌面畸形患者牙周健康与美观(附1例4年随访报告)
Mucogingival surgery assisting orthodontic and orthognathic combined treatment in the improvement of peri-odontal health and esthetics of patients with severe periodontitis and dentofacial deformity:a case report of 4-year follow-up
摘要
Abstract
The patients with severe periodontitis often have dentition defect and dentofacial deformities,and their normal oral function and appearance are seriously affected.With the demands of patients for restoration of oral health,function and aesthetics increasing,the treatment goals for severe periodontitis patients with dentofacial deformities should include establishing good occlusal contact,achieving sustained and stable periodontal health and taking into account masticatory function and restoration of dentofacial aesthetics.It usually requires complex multidisciplinary treatment,which is criti-cal and difficult for clinical diagnosis and treatment.This article displays the multidisciplinary treatment procedures,in-cluding initial periodontal therapy,mucogingival surgery,orthodontic and orthognathic combined treatment,and a long-term follow-up of a patient with generalized stage Ⅲgrade C periodontitis and skeletal class Ⅲ malocclu-sion,which finally achieve the goals of restoring health,reconstructing function and esthetic improve-ment.It is expected to provide some experiences for the multidisciplinary treatment of clinical complex cases.关键词
