Abstract
Objective To investigate the application effect of cognitive behavioral nursing combined with health education based on stress theory in the perioperative period of thyroid cancer patients.Methods A total of 116 thyroid cancer patients who underwent surgical treatment at Fujian Cancer Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into two groups using lottery method.The 58 patients in the control group received routine nursing care,while the 58 patients in the observation group received cognitive behavioral nursing combined with health education based on stress theory.The Fear of Progression Questionnaire-Short Form scores,Self-Rating Depression Scale scores,Self-Rating Anxiety Scale scores,Health Behavior Scale scores,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index scores,Quality of Life Scale scores,and overall nursing satisfaction rate were compared between the two groups at admission and after intervention.Results After 4 weeks of intervention,the scores of the Fear of Progression Questionnaire-Short Form,the Self-Rating Depression Scale,the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale,and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index in both groups were lower than those before intervention,and the scores of the Health Behavior Scale and the Quality of Life Scale were higher than those at admission(all P<0.05).The above scores in the observation group were better than those in the control group(all P<0.05).The overall satisfaction rate of nursing in the observation group was 93.10%,which was higher than 72.41%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Cognitive behavioral nursing combined with health education based on stress theory can effectively alleviate the negative emotions and fear of relapse,improve the sleep quality,health behaviors and quality of life of patients with thyroid cancer,and help to increase the satisfaction rate of nursing service.关键词
