Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect and value of enhanced infection nursing model based on seamless nursing concept in the critically ill patients with respiratory diseases.Methods A total of 110 critically ill patients with respiratory diseases at Tongji Hospital,Tongji Medical College,Huazhong University of Science and Technology from October 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were assigned to a control group and an observation group using a random number table.The 55 patients in the control group received routine anti-infection nursing intervention,while the 55 patients in the observation group received enhanced infection nursing intervention based on seamless nursing concept.The multidrug-resistant bacterial infections,eligibility for relevant hygiene indicators,self-care ability,nursing satisfaction,hospitalization time,and nursing compliance rate were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with the control group,the infection rate of multidrug-resistant bacteria in the observation group was lower(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the observation group had higher qualified rates for medical waste disposal,personal protective equipment,hand hygiene,and nursing compliance(all P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the observation group had shorter hospitalization time(P<0.05).After 2 weeks of intervention,the scores of self-care ability in both groups were significantly higher than those before intervention(all P<0.05),and the self-care ability and nursing satisfaction scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(both P<0.05).Conclusion Enhanced infection nursing model based on seamless nursing concept can reduce the infection rate of multidrug-resistant bacteria in critically ill patients with respiratory diseases,increase the qualified rate of relevant hygiene indicators and the nursing compliance rate,improve the self-care ability,and shorten the hospitalization time with high nursing satisfaction.关键词
