Abstract
The year of 2023 marks the 70th anniversary of the U.S.-ROK Alliance.The relationship between the two countries has evolved into a global,comprehensive and strategic alliance,and the strategic importance of the alliance to the U.S.and ROK has increased.The geographical scope of U.S.-ROK alliance cooperation extends beyond the Korean Peninsula to the Asia-Pacific region and the world.The fields of alliance cooperation are constantly expanding,from the military alliance during the Cold War to the economic alliance,technology alliance and value alliance.The Yoon Suk Yeol administration formally proposed to builda Global Comprehensive Strategic Alliance and it has already made some progress.The U.S.has reaffirmed its"nuclear umbrella"by upgrading extended deterrence.Both sides have enhanced coordination on Indo-Pacific strategy and global challenges.They have further cooperated in the fields of economy,technology and common value.However,the alliance cooperation will confront multiple challenges from both within and outside.关键词
