Analysis of the anomaly characteristics in Yunnan region before the Honghe MS 5.0 earthquake in 2022

Abstract
This study summarized the seismic activity and geophysical observation anomalies in Yunnan before the Honghe MS 5.0 earthquake.The results showed thatthe Honghe MS 5.0 earthquake occurred on the ML≥4.0 seismic belt from northeast to south to southwest in Yunnan,which had been active since 2019.A new M 3.0 seismic belt,the opening of the Eshan seismic window,and the earthquake cluster activity formed rapidly one year before the earthquake,which can be used as the basis for determining the occurrence of MS 5.0 earthquakes around south-southwest Yunnan in the next six months.The anomalies of deformation and fluid observation within 200 km of the epicenter were significant.The tiltmeter and water level observations at the Shiping Seismic Station and the water temperature and gas radon observations atthe Simao Seismic Station appeared later than the rapidly formed M 3.0 seismic belt,which can be used as the basis for determining the urgency of earthquakes.关键词
