Abstract
The effects of different process parameters on the microstructure and mechanical properties of joints of dissimilar aluminum alloy,namely ZL104 and 3003Al by friction stir welding were studied.The microstructure of the joint was characterized by metallographic microscope.The mechanical proper-ties of the joint were tested by a universal testing machine and microhardness tester.The experimental results show that when the welding speed is 100 mm·min-1,the grain size in the nugget zone decreases first and then increases with the increase in the rotating speed of the friction stir tool,and the hardness distribution is W-shaped.When the rotating speed of the friction stir tool is 1000 r·min-1,the grain size in the nugget zone decreases with the increase in the welding speed,and the maximum tensile strength of the joint reaches 174.9 MPa when the welding speed is 100 mm∙min-1.关键词
