Abstract

The protection of drinking water source is an important link to ensure the safety of drinking water.In this study,three reservoirs(Baihuzi Reservoir,Beimiao Reservoir,Changlinggang Reservoir)in Baoshan Dam Area were tested once a month from January 2021 to December 2021.The changes of pH,CODMn,fecal coliforms,ammonia nitrogen,nitrate(N),chloride(Cl),fluoride,sulfate and other eight main indices were mastered,and the water quality was evaluated by principal component analysis.The results showed that the overall water quality of the reservoir was well,and there were obvious seasonal distribution differences in pH,CODMn,fecal coliforms and other indices.The evaluation results of principal component analysis showed that there were some differences in water quality among different reservoirs.The water quality in high-water period was worse than that in low-water period.The water quality of Beimiao Reservoir was worse than that of other reservoirs.The water quality of the three reservoirs was mainly affected by organic matter,nutrients and fecal coliforms.The research results are helpful to understand the present situation of water quality in Baoshan Dam Area and provide basis for water environment management and improvement.
