Abstract

In order to solve the problem of insufficient residual chlorine in the secondary water supply equipment of the urban pipe network,the paper used a small sodium hypochlorite generator as a chlorine supplementation device to study the application of sodium hypochlorite generator in secondary water supply and chlorine supplementation,and summarized the existing problems and proposes solutions.The project used a small sodium hypochlorite generator with an effective chlorine output of 300 g/h as a chlorine supplementation equipment,and selected a secondary water supply station with an underground semi-closed structure as the research object to study the safety,self-control and effect of sodium hypochlorite generator in the process of secondary water supply and chlorine supplementation.Firstly,the device used honeycomb ceramic carrier supported noble metal Pt catalyst to catalyze the removal of hydrogen,which solved the possible safety problems of by-product hydrogen during operation.The results showed that under the condition of preheating temperature of 50℃,the hydrogen removal ratio was 100%.After stable operation,the final temperature of the hydrogen digestion device was ≤80℃;secondly,under the condition of high temperature in summer,the inlet water temperature of the secondary supply station was 36℃,and the residual chlorine was 0,the equipment started the high temperature operation mode.The residual chlorine in the secondary water supply effluent was 0.25~0.33 mg/L,and the residual chlorine in the peripheral water was 0.09~0.16 mg/L,both of which met the disinfection requirements.At the same time,the concentration of by-product chlorate in the prepared sodium hypochlorite solution was 115~125 mg/L,which cowld not cause a large fluctuation of chlorate after being added to the water body.According to statistics,the salt consumption of small sodium hypochlorite generator was 4.5 kg/kg available chlorine,and the power consumption was 5 kW·h/kg available chlorine.
