Abstract
In order to evaluate the mechanical properties of graded crushed stone specimens formed by vibration method,the effects of compaction degree,water content and gradation type on CBR value and unconfined compressive strength of graded crushed stone were discussed.The results show that the graded gravel specimen formed by the vibration method has good mechanical properties;the CBR and unconfined compressive strength of the two graded gravel specimens increase nonlinearly with the increase of compaction degree,and the increase rate gradually decreases.For every 1%increase in compaction degree,CBR and unconfined compressive strength increase by 11.2%and 13.3%,respectively.The mechanical properties of graded crushed stone increase with the air-drying of water content,and the CBR value and compressive strength of air-dried specimens increase by 14.7%and 35.6%respectively.The CBR value and compressive strength of graded gravel specimens with skeleton dense gradation are significantly higher than those of suspended dense gradation.关键词
