From"Site Integration"to"Scene Construction":Thinking about the Relevance of Site Texture Elements:

Abstract
With the increasing demand of collection and display,the archive space of university history museum in old campus no longer meets requirements.Thus the construction of new history museum comes into being.Converting from a pure campus-oriented museum to a comprehensive museum to the public,the history museum becomes an important carrier of historical and cultural transmission.The history museum building inherits the historic context,accumulates the campus culture,and witnesses the faculty and the students'extraordinary years.Through the construction of the new venue,Shanghai Jiao Tong University aims to integrate into the campus environment,and to fully explore the site environment and the cultural history of the Minhang District Campus.This project explores and improve the relationship between its location,texture and environment of the newly-built museum,and attempts to form a connection between the campus environment,history,culture and the memory of collective and individual scenes.关键词
