DTM-Based Analysis of Hot Topics and Evolution of American Artificial Intelligence Strategy

Abstract
[Research purpose]At present,the confrontation game between China and the United States in the field of artificial intelli-gence is becoming increasingly fierce.Through the quantitative analysis of 60 American artificial intelligence strategy reports,the stage strategic focus and topic evolution trend of American artificial intelligence strategy are excavated from the time dimension,and relevant ex-perience is summarized to propose the optimization of China's development strategy and planning in the field of artificial intelligence.[Re-search method]The release of U.S.artificial intelligence strategy reports is divided into three stages:drafting and releasing,implemen-ting and adjusting,and accelerating and deepening.Taking the U.S.national artificial intelligence strategy and federal agency artificial in-telligence strategy documents and artificial intelligence bills as research objects,this paper adopts dynamic topic model to analyze the strate-gic focus and evolution path of U.S.artificial intelligence strategy in three stages by calculating topic heat and topic similarity.[Research conclusion]DTM excavates 16 artificial intelligence strategy topics and the topic hotspots distribution in each stage,and finds that the fo-cus of U.S.artificial intelligence strategy gradually shifts from economic interests and basic layout to maintaining national security,and pays more attention to the competition with China in artificial intelligence.Also,it will coordinate and build an artificial intelligence inno-vation ecosystem in the future.Finally,this paper compares the similarities and differences between Chinese and American artificial intelli-gence strategies,And put forward China's challenges and development suggestions.关键词
