Abstract

Aiming at how to reduce the erosion of the river bed by water flow,relieve the impact force and centrifugal force of the bend,reduce the transverse slope of the water surface of the bend,and improve the flow pattern,a new type of curve is proposed,that is,the reverse super-high symmetrical convex bend,which reduces the bottom of the concave bank of the curve and raises the convex bank on the basis of the symmetrical insert of the gentle curve between the straight and the curve section.The results show that,compared with the circular curve,the flow pattern of the symmetrical convex curve is improved,and the transverse slope of the surface of the reverse super-high symmetrical convex curve is reduced by 60%.The concave bank of the curve has basically eliminated the erosion.
