摘要

Abstract

Acetyl-CoA,a key node in microbial metabolic pathways,is involved in the intracellular biosynthesis of a variety of chemicals.The modification of production pathway of acetyl-CoA through metabolic engineering methods can potentially increase the acetyl-CoA level,thus becomes an important approach to improve the yields of compounds with acetyl-CoA as a synthetic precursor.In this paper,we first presented various pathways of the intracellular acetyl-CoA synthesis,including PDH bypass pathway,PDH pathway,PK-PTA pathway and citrate cleavage pathway,as well as their differences in Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Yarrowia lipolytica.Then we summarized several strategies for the metabolic regulation of acetyl CoA synthesis pathway in yeast,along with their comparison in two kinds of yeast.This review will provide useful guidance for the efficient production of target compounds in yeast.
