Abstract
Criminal cases such as insurance fraud and homicide caused by forging traffic accidents rised as the number of motor vehicles and drivers increased.This paper aims to investigate the basic rules and forensic analysis of camouflage traffic cases.Although camouflaged traffic accidents are not common in daily forensic practice,more attention should be paid to deal with them.Firstly,it is necessary to conduct a thorough on-site investigation.To determine the nature of the case,whether it is a criminal case or a traffic accident,on-site investigation is a very important,and the investigation work should be carried out closely around the detailed information,such as the environment,roads,vehicles,personnel,and other clues.Secondly,it is important to conduct a thorough and systematic autopsy for every suspected case involving personal death.Finally,comprehensive analysis and judgment should be made based on other survey information.It is necessary to identify various injury characteristics and combine relevant data for comprehensive evaluation of traffic accidents.Careful investigation of the scene,autopsy examination,analysis of injury degree and distribution,injury formation mechanism,estimation of time since death,prenatal injury and postmortem injury inference,suspected injury-causing objects and extraction and inspection of toxicological materials,these procedures are necessary to determine the cause of death.Furthermore,to define the cause of death,comprehensive assessment of relevant data such as event data recorder(EDR),the examination of X-ray and multi-slice spiral computed tomography(MSCT)and relevant investigation are necessary to prevent misjudgment.EDR is eligible for comprehensive recording both the real-time road traffic status and events occurring in the course of vehicle moving,and this is capable of providing evidence and clues for the investigation of related accidents.With the scene investigation plus body examination,the medical imaging can enhance the forensic verification more objectively and accurately.关键词
