Abstract
Objective To study the awareness of syphilis-related knowledge and its influencing factors in patients with positive syphilis screening.Methods From January 2020 to December 2022,72 patients with positive syphilis screening in our center were selected as the research objects.The self-made questionnaire on syphilis transmission and prevention was used to investigate the awareness of syphilis-related knowledge.According to the survey results,the patients were divided into the awareness group and the unawareness group.The self-made basic data questionnaire was used to collect the general data of the two groups(gender,age,marital status,education level,sexual orientation,and whether they participated in relevant publicity activities),and the factors affecting the awareness of syphilis-related knowledge in patients with positive syphilis screening were analyzed.Results Among the 72 patients with positive syphilis screening,17 patients were aware of syphilis-related knowledge,accounting for 23.61%;55 patients who did not know,accounting for 76.39%.The awareness rates of non-transmission routes and mother-to-child block in syphilis-related knowledge were lower than 50.00%.The proportions of age＜20 years old,heterosexuality,education level of junior high school and below,and not participating in relevant publicity activities in the unawareness group were higher than those in the awareness group(P＜0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age＜20 years old,education level of junior high school and below,and failure to participate in relevant publicity activities were independent risk factors affecting the awareness of syphilis-related knowledge in patients with positive syphilis screening(P＜0.05).Conclusion Patients with positive syphilis screening have a low level of knowledge about syphilis,which is closely related to their age,education level and participation in relevant publicity activities.Clinically,targeted prevention can be given for independent risk factors to reduce the spread of syphilis and control syphilis infection.关键词
