摘要

Abstract

Diversified development in high school education refers to the diversity in the entire high school education system,including both regular high school education and secondary vocational education.Understanding the evolution from a singular form to a diverse structure of high school education requires consideration of three main logics:internal development of education,external demands from the economy and society,and individual student growth.Firstly,in terms of scale,the transition from an elite-focused approach to a more widespread high school education calls for diversification.in terms of structure,the marginalization of vocational education and the separation between vocational and general education bring about several drawbacks.In terms of positioning,transforming the tracking system to achieve diversification is the main content of international high school education reforms.Secondly,the current form of high school education inadequately aligns with economic and societal development:it suppresses diversity in favor of a singular model and fails to support the continuous development of technical and skilled talents.Finally,in this new era,high school education needs to better cater to individual developmental needs.The question of"what kind of individuals to cultivate"is pertinent to the times and requires an answer that aligns with specific contemporary features.High school education,as a pivotal stage,should not predetermine human development.The implementation path to promote diversified development in high school education includes:the government creating top-level designs to provide a favorable policy environment for the diversified development of high school education;supporting diverse content in high school education through partnerships between vocational and general education schools;and reinforcing institutional safeguards such as school evaluation systems and examination and enrollment procedures.
