Abstract
Chinese president Xi Jinping emphasized in the fifth collective study of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee that accelerating the construction of a powerful country in education will provide strong support for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.To build a powerful country in education,the leader is higher education.From September 12 to 13,2023,the"High-quality Development Forum of Higher Education in the New Era"co-sponsored by China Association of Higher Education,Jilin University and China Higher Education Training Center was held.With the theme of"building a powerful country,what can higher education do",the experts and scholars discussed a powerful country in education and the construction of a high-quality higher education system,the independent training of top talents for the major strategic needs of China,the governance of colleges and universities that adapt to the advancement of scientific and technological innovation and industrial change,and the optimization and cross-integration of disciplines.关键词
