摘要

Abstract

Traditional wireless communication systems can only passively adapt to channel conditions,lacking the ability to control the channel environment.The stochastic and uncertain nature of the wire-less propagation environment significantly impacts communication quality.The Reconfigurable Intelli-gent Surface(RIS)technology can actively configure the wireless channel environment,and the intro-duction of RIS will be a new paradigm for future wireless communications.To explore the potential ap-plications of RIS,this paper firstly analyzes the unit structure and beamforming principles of RIS.Sec-ondly,based on the experimental data from indoor and outdoor scenarios with various incident and re-flection angles in RIS-aided communication systems,the channel parameters are extracted,building a simulation platform for RIS-aided communication channels.Finally,simulations are conducted for each scenario,and key performance indicators,including Reference Signal Receiving Power(RSRP),Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio(SINR),and throughput,are compared before and after RIS coding.The simulation results show that,compared to scenarios without RIS coding,the deployment of RIS with coding modulation results in improvements in RSRP,SINR,and throughput.Further-more,outdoor scenarios demonstrate greater gains than indoor scenarios,indicating that RIS can ac-tively control wireless channels and improve service quality.The research results offer valuable in-sights for the practical application of RIS in real-world scenarios.
