摘要

Abstract

As one of the key technologies of 6G,the integrated sensing and communication(ISAC)is to realize sensing and communication functions on same hardware platforms and share the same waveform,thus reducing hardware implemen-tation costs and improving resource utilization.In view of this,we introduce the system from the perspective of the concept,classification,and system architecture.We then provide a comprehensive survey of the state-of-the-art methods of the ISAC technique from the waveform design perspective.Specifically,the current research status of the integrated waveform design methods is analyzed and summarized from three aspects:sensing-based waveform design,communication-based waveform design,and joint communication and sensing waveform design.Finally,potential challenges and future research trends of ISAC waveform design are discussed.
