Micro-regulation and performance of polyaniline composite electrode materials

Abstract
Polyaniline(PANI)was a promising conductive polymer electrode material,but its agglomeration structure affected its performance.By adjusting the concentration of aniline,PANI with uniform microstructure was prepared by chemical oxidation polymerization on the modified carbon nanotubes(CNTU)with high specific surface area,the influence of microstructure change on electrochemical performance was analyzed.A large number of micropores were generated on the surface of the modified carbon nanotubes,which increased the specific surface area.PANI was evenly deposited by adjusting the concentration of aniline,which avoided the agglomeration structure formed by the self-assembly of traditional polymer method.The uniformly spread PANI on the substrate with high specific surface area displayed highly reversible redox performance,improving the low redox activity,low rate capability and short cycle life of PANI,so that PANI/CNTU composites had both high specific capacity and excellent rate capability,the stability was improved as well.The composites prepared with aniline concentration of 0.1 mol/L had a specific capacitance of 305.0 F/g at a current of 1 A/g in 0-0.8 V and a capacitance retention rate of 80.77%after 1 000 cycles.关键词
