Abstract

Low temperature is a typical environment which causes insulator failures,and low temperature snowstorm brings great difficulties to human operation and maintenance.Image recognition is becoming a key auxiliary means to monitor insulators in low temperature environment.But there is a lack of research on the impact of low temperature environment on insulator video image recognition.The supporting insu-lator of low-temperature snowstorm environment is taken as the research object,and the influencing fac-tors of low-temperature snowstorm environment on insulator image recognition are analyzed.It mainly includes the following content:Firstly,the blizzard environment is a typical high-value salt and pepper noise,and the insulator image needs to be filtered;secondly,the image recognition and analysis should be carried out by fully using the filtering algorithm considering the preservation of insulator details;final-ly,it is recommended to choose the low-temperature series of CMOS sensors for video sensors,which is equipped with low-temperature battery and low-temperature environment defogging equipment.The author summarizes the low temperature response measures for insulator video image recognition in low temperature environment,which provides references for insulator operation and maintenance in low tem-perature environment.
