摘要
Abstract
Vimentin is an important type Ⅲ intermediate filament protein,mainly derived from mesenchymal cells.Vimentin is expressed in various types of tumors,and up-regulated expression of Vimentin is related to the migration and invasion ability of tumor cells,suggesting poor prognosis.Vimentin is a typical marker of epithelial-mesenchymal transition of tumor cells and a potential drug target.Studies have shown that Vimentin is abnormally expressed in cervical cancer,ovarian cancer and endometrial cancer,and is related to prognosis,tumormetastasis and recurrence,which has potential clinical application value.This article reviews the relationship between Vimentin as well as gynecological malignancy and its possible mechanism.关键词
