Abstract
For a reservoir constructed in a small watershed,due to lack of sufficient measurement station within the watershed range,simplified calculation was usually conducted with the rainfall measured at the reservoir station be-ing used as the watershed surface rainfall or by use of the rainfall contour results.This method is usually very effec-tive when the elevation of the reservoir station is not much different from the average elevation of the basin,or when it is not in the center of the rainstorm.However,for the reservoirs in mountainous areas,especially those in the cen-ter of rainstorm,the impact of elevation and windward slope is often ignored by this method,or the rainfall value read is too small,which ultimately leads to the deviation of the calculated runoff results from the actual situation.Therefore,Tyson polygon method was used to establish a correlation between elevation and rainfall to analyze the impact of elevation changes on the analysis results of runoff coefficient of mountain reservoirs,so as to provide basis for more scientific utilization of water resources.关键词
