Abstract
As a phenotypic indicator of organisms,metabolites are of great significance for biological research.However,due to the complex structure of metabolites,a sample can contain a large number of metabolites with different chemical structures and concentrations.Therefore,the study of metabolites is relatively difficult.As an important component of metabolomics,metabolite annotation can provide a lot of information about organisms,so the accuracy of metabolite annotation is crucial.This study used the control variable method to explore the influencing factors of metabolite annotation from five aspects:adduct list,molecular formula list,P-value,Pearson coefficient,and retention time.The results showed that the adduct list and molecular formula list had an impact on the accuracy of metabolite annotation.When applying smaller adduct lists,molecular formula lists,and metabolite databases,the accuracy of metabolite annotation is higher than that of using more adduct lists,molecular formula lists,and metabolite datasets.However,changing the P-value,Pearson coefficient,and retention time have a weaker impact on the accuracy of metabolite annotation.关键词
