甘蔗新品种中糖3号的选育与种性评价
The Breeding and Species Evaluation of a New Sugarcane Variety Zhongtang3

Abstract
Zhongtang3 is a new sugarcane variety that was bred by hybridization from Yuetang99-66×ROC28 by Institute of Tropical Bioscience and Biotechnology,CATAS.It was registered as the non-major crop variety by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in September 2020.In the cultivar performance test of one-year new planting and two-year recurrent root,the average sugarcane yield of Zhongtang3 was 130.14 t/hm2,16.03%higher than that of the control ROC22.The average sucrose content was 14.79%,1.01 percent point higher than that of control ROC22.The average sugar yield was 19.34 t/hm2,24.05%higher than that of the control ROC22.And the average fiber content was 10.85%,1.12 percent point higher than that of control ROC22.In terms of the mechanized harvesting performance,the average loss rate in 3 years Zhongtang3 was 4.34%and the control ROC22 was 5.39%.The loss rate decreased by 19.48%.The average impurity rate in 3 years Zhongtang3 was 6.12%and the control ROC22 was 7.13%.The impurity rate decreased by 14.17%.Comprehensive multiple-year and multiple-site experiments had shown that Zhongtang3 was a middle-late variety with high yields and high sugar content.The newly planted seedlings were emergence fast and tillering more while the root plant had a high bud rate.It shows resistance to smut and moderate resistance to mosaic disease.The stem is thick,upright and uniform with full content and not easy to fall down and wind damaged.Zhongtang3 has excellent agronomic traits such as better defoliation and mechanized harvesting performance,and good potential for commercial cultivation.关键词
