Abstract

Comparing the physical properties of domestic and imported stretched acrylic in accordance with the design and verification requirements of cabin window transparency for civil aircrafts,the properties of haze,luminous transmittance,craze resistance,and thermal relaxation are comparable.The orientation of stretched acrylic was calculated by secondary thermal relaxation,and the orientation of domestic glass was 68.7%.Imported glass is over oriented,resulting in interlayer delamination,thus its shear strength is poor.Therefore,the mechanical properties of domestic stretched acrylic are better.A LEF method is developed to analyze the static mechanical and fatigue properties.The result shows that the LEF factor is 1.015.The domestic stretched acrylic has met the material variability requirements of civil aircrafts.Therefore,the cabin window transparency manufactured by domestic stretched acrylic can be used in civil aircrafts.
