Abstract
This article investigated the influence of the structure of ceramic fillers and the melting point of fluxes on the ceramic polyolefins char layer.The vertical combustion results indicate that the laminated mica has the strongest carbon formation,and the char layer breaks after 114s,with a fracture length of 10cm;The spherical calcium carbonate carbon layer is the worst,starting to fracture at 93s,with a fracture length of 4cm.When needle like wollastonite is also used as the ceramic filler,when the melting point of glass powder is higher,the char layer can be maintained to fracture for 178s,and the fracture length can reach 15cm.The Leica microscope results of the char layer indicate that the layered ceramic filler forms more dense and complete carbon;The char layer of spherical fillers is loose,fragile,and cracked.When the melting point of glass powder is higher,the density of the char layer is enhanced.We studyed the carbonization mechanism of different ceramic fillers and fluxes through scanning electron microscopy(SEM);The char layers formed by layered fillers are stacked layer by layer,which has a stronger barrier effect;The carbonization of high melting point glass powder is smoother.关键词
