Abstract
This paper describes an investigation into the effect of different corrosion defect parameters on the bearing capacity of storage tank.Combined with the current corrosion status of steel crude oil stor-age tank in oilfield production plant,the investigation consists of establishing a vertical steel oil storage tank model by means of ABAQUS finite element software,studying the distribution characteristics behind the equivalent stress contour diagram and the variation law of residual bearing capacity of the crude oil storage tank under different defect parameters by using control variate method,and developing the rele-vant theoretical formulas of the residual bearing capacity of the storage tank under different corrosion depths according to the finite element simulation results.The results show that the maximum Von Mises stress occurs at the center of each corrosion defect;As the hoop corrosion spacing is less than 2°,the re-sidual bearing capacity gradually decreases alone with the increase of the spacing,and when the hoop corrosion spacing is greater than 2°,the residual bearing capacity remains unchanged,A logarithmic function relationship appears between the axial corrosion spacing and the residual bearing capacity;When the corrosion length changes between 0.10-0.15 m,the residual bearing capacity decreases gradually;When the corrosion depth reaches 3 mm,the bearing capacity is greatly reduced,and the propagation of corrosion depth needs to be suppressed in time.关键词
